Drama & Art: Create Your Own World
A screen-free imaginative journey in drama, movement, storytelling and creative making
What happens when children are invited not just to join a story, but to invent an entire world of their own?
Drama & Art: Create Your Own World is an immersive creative project where children use art, movement and storytelling to imagine and build a completely new world together. Through guided drama games and hands-on making, they invent landscapes, characters, rules and narratives that shape their created universe.
While sessions have a clear and supportive structure, the direction is informed by the children’s own ideas. This makes the experience feel especially alive and empowering: their imagination is not simply encouraged, it becomes the foundation of the workshop.
Blending mixed-media art with embodied play, this screen-free project helps children grow in confidence, communication and creative independence while experiencing the joy of stepping into a world they have made themselves.

A world they can physically step into
One of the most special things about this workshop is that it blends visual art with performance.
Children do not only draw or describe the world they create; they move through it, act within it and embody its characters and stories. This makes the creative experience much more immersive. A landscape becomes a setting for play. A character becomes someone they can physically explore. A story becomes something that happens in the room.
For many children, this kind of embodied creativity feels especially joyful and natural. It allows them to think with their whole body as well as their imagination, supporting expression in ways that go beyond words.
That is what makes the workshop feel so alive: ideas become movement, images become stories and stories become shared experiences.
Imagination, Storytelling & Mixed - Media Play
This project gives children something deeply exciting: the chance to become the creators of their own imaginative universe.
Through drama, movement, drawing and craft, children begin to ask and answer questions that shape a new world from the ground up. Who lives there? What does it look like? What are its rules? What kinds of creatures or characters belong there? What stories unfold in that place?
Because these ideas come from the children themselves, the workshop feels highly engaging and personal. They are not simply following instructions or filling in a theme, they are actively building something original and meaningful together.
This gives the session a wonderful balance of structure and freedom: enough guidance to help ideas grow, but enough openness for imagination to lead.
