In this screen-free music project, children discover how to play popular songs on the piano without complicated theory or traditional sheet music. Beginning with four essential chords, they practise different hand positions, smooth transitions and simple chord progressions used across hundreds of well-known songs.

Across four sessions, participants gradually introduce singing and learn how the piano can support their own musical expression. By the end of the project, they will be able to play and sing a selection of favourite songs while developing confidence, rhythm and a lasting enthusiasm for making music.
