Printmaking

  • Children's artwork depicting three colorful dragon drawings with different backgrounds. The left dragon is orange on a blue background with a collage of red, yellow, and white paper. The middle dragon has a pink background with a rainbow-striped body and a partially colored head. The right dragon is on a blue background with a orange, red, and yellow collage body and a light-colored head.

    Dragon Portraits

In this hands-on, screen-free art project, children design their own dragon character while exploring drawing, colour mixing, mono-printing and collage techniques. Over four sessions, imagination grows alongside confidence as their dragon portrait slowly comes to life.

The process encourages patience, creative decision-making and pride in making something entirely their own, ending with a striking artwork ready to display.

  • The Selfish Giant

Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant, this screen-free printmaking project invites children to explore storytelling, nature and emotion through thoughtful creative work. Across a series of calm sessions, they listen to the story and transform its themes into layered prints using traditional techniques.

A reflective artistic journey that nurtures imagination, empathy and confidence while introducing children to the beauty of printmaking.
